If chipped, stained, or misshapen teeth make you self-conscious about your smile, our Litchfield Park dental team offers comprehensive cosmetic treatment in the form of dental veneers.
At Warren & Hagerman Family Dentistry, we want our patients to love their smiles. Veneers are simple and are designed to look like natural teeth, so your smile can shine without a lot of intensive dental treatment or tooth pain. If you’re ready to feel more confident when you smile, dental veneers could be the treatment you’re looking for!
What Are Dental Veneers?
Dental veneers cover smile imperfections to create a perfectly balanced and beautiful smile. These ultra-thin covers, usually made of porcelain or composite materials, are adhered to the front of the teeth to improve their appearance, balance their shape and alignment, and protect them from damage.
Are Dental Veneers Right For Your Smile?

- Receding gums
- Misshapen teeth
- Chipped teeth
- Gap(s) between teeth
- Grey or discolored teeth
Dental veneers are an ideal cosmetic approach to restoring youth to your smile. Over the years, teeth can become stained, chipped, and damaged – even if you brush, floss, and have regular checkups. Everyday activities like eating and drinking staining foods can eventually degrade the enamel of the teeth.
At Warren & Hagerman Family Dentistry, we offer two different types of dental veneers:
Porcelain Dental Veneers
Beautiful, translucent porcelain veneers are an excellent solution if your teeth are crooked, chipped, stained, or have small gaps between them. Veneers are applied to the front of your teeth to provide a whiter, flawless smile.
While dental veneers will require minor tooth preparation, our cosmetic dentists are gentle and will discuss the best options for preserving your natural teeth while achieving your desired results.
Composite Dental Veneers
Cosmetic dental veneers are crafted from tooth-colored composite material instead of porcelain. Like traditional porcelain veneers, the composite dental veneers are bonded to the front surface of your teeth. Composite veneers are a budget-friendly treatment option, requiring minimal prep work before the veneers are placed.
Will Veneers Damage My Teeth?
This is a common question many patients have about dental veneers. Fortunately, veneers will not damage your teeth as long as a properly trained cosmetic dentist completes your treatment.
To prepare your teeth for a traditional porcelain dental veneer, we will need to remove about 1/2 millimeter of enamel from the surface of your tooth. This is nearly equal to the thickness of your veneers.
Our cosmetic dental team will ensure your comfort throughout the process. We'll also discuss with you a choice of using a local anesthetic to numb the area before removing a small amount of enamel to make room for your new veneers.
How Much Do Dental Veneers Cost?

If you’re concerned about the cost of dental veneers, call us to schedule your consultation with one of our cosmetic dentists. We'll take time to understand your oral health goals and financial considerations, while presenting you with a transparent treatment plan and all the information you need to make the best decisions for your smile.
If you're on a budget or aren’t sure if your dental insurance covers the cost of veneers, we have a variety of financing plans available to help!
